NSW Juniors is proud to announce that our Patrons for 2024 will be Darren (DC) Coleman and Piper Duck.

We thank both these wonderful ambassadors of our game for their time and commitment to supporting our junior rugby players.

Darren Coleman – Darren is the Head Coach or our NSW Waratahs team. Hailing from the Mid North Coast, DC played in the Shute Shield for Easts, Norths and Newcastle from 1995 -2000. He has also coached a at number of Shute Shield clubs, winning the Premiership with two different clubs.

Along the way DC has coached NSW Waratahs Academy sides and has kids playing junior rugby in the Randwick District. He is always keen to help out with the juniors and a great asset to all levels of NSW Rugby.

Piper Duck – Piper is our youngest Waratahs captain to date for the Super W Competition. Piper represented Gordon at a junior level and Sydney University at a senior level.

Piper’s first ever game of footy was for the Tumut Bullettes at the later age of fifteen (2016) with the country girl moving to Sydney shortly after to fulfil her rugby dreams (2017). The Wagga Wagga born and Tumut raised rugby star later progressed to School Girl 7s where she represented Barker College (2017) and played AON 7s for Sydney University before attending her first 15s tournament with the Wallaroos A side in Fiji.

We look forward to working alongside both of these amazing role models for season 2024.

If you see them around the grounds please say hello and thank them for their efforts!!
