As we prepare for the 2023 Season, we have been busily organizing the various nomination forms we will require. These will of course be circulated amongst our Zone/Districts and Clubs in early 2023.

But to ensure we have one point of reference we have listed the various forms here

NSW Juniors 2023 Coach Nomination form

We are looking for nominations for our three x 2023 Rep teams. These teams are

1. U18 NSW Juniors XV - this team will be selected from the various U18 trial matches involving Sydney, NSW Country and the Schools Associations. The team will then play at the Australian Schools Rugby Championships (ASRU) against teams like NSW Schools I & II, Qld Schools I & II, ACT Schools, Vic Schools plus either a Lloyd McDermott XV or NSWJRU Barbarians XV.
2. U18 NSWJRU Barbarians XV -this team is selected directly out of the U18 State Champs. Players must have competed at the State Champs to be eligible. The team is selected after the Gen Blue, NSW Schools & NSW Juniors XV's are selected. It will play against a touring Japanese XV and potentially at ASRU (as it did in 2022 and made final).
3. U16 NSWJRU Presidents XV -this team is selected from the U16 State Champs and will compete at the Regionals. It is dependent on whether NSW Country select a 2nd XV for the Regionals as to if we will continue this team. TBA

2023 Rugby Club Foundation NSW Junior State Championships - Extra Player Pool Nomination Form

This form is to nominate a player (whom missed out on selection for their Home Zone/District) for the NSWJRU State Champs - Rep Player Pool.

This 'Player Pool' is for players that missed out on Rep selection for their 'Home' District/Zone but would still like to make themselves available for selection for one of our small Districts (whom quite often don't have the necessary player numbers to field a team).

This includes the NSW Country Champs and SJRU Sydney Cups (which are included within the State Champs)

*Note - if you did NOT make yourself available to trial for your Home Zone/District then you are ineligible to play for any other team.

**If a Zone/District is seeking players then they MUST select any players in the Pool from their OWN Zone/District first (assuming can play position needed) before they can consider other options.

***Nominations cannot be made until AFTER your 2023 Zone or District trials take place

2023 Rugby Club Foundation NSW Junior State Championships - Team Entry Nomination Form

This is for NSWJRU Zones and Districts to nominate their teams for the 2023 Rugby Club Foundation NSW Junior State Championships.

These Tournaments now include the NSW Country Champs and the SJRU Sydney Cups in the U14 and higher ages.

Interstate Teams can use the same form for nominations but must have gained entry approval from the NSWJRU Board prior (and need sanctioning from your own governing body)

Entry Costs in 2023 were to be $300 per team, but due to the generosity of The Rugby Club Foundation these fees have now been waived.

2023 Rugby Club Foundation NSW Junior State Championships - Team Contact Info Form

For the distribution of information specific to each venue at the Rugby Club Foundation NSW Junior State Championships, we require the coach and manager contact information for EVERY team.
