Orange City Council helps brings U14 State Champs to the bush

The Under 14 age group at the NSWJRU State Championships has become an iconic event in the junior rugby calendar. The long weekend carnival in the wonderful Central West City of Orange is one of the showpiece venues for any junior rugby carnival in NSW. This year the Positive Rugby 2019 NSW Juniors State Championships will move to Pride Park, Waratahs Sports Club on Telopea Way, Orange - home of the Orange City Lions.

Such a large event is not an easy venture to undertake and we certainly could not be able to put on such an event without the support of the good people at Orange City Council. Many thanks for your support of junior rugby - we love bringing our showpiece event out to the Central West. For more information on the wonderful city of Orange visit Orange360.com.au

The weekend will see 17 teams from all over the State converge on Orange to battle it out for the title of NSW Juniors State Champions. We have a good mix of both Sydney Metro districts and NSW Country zones as well as teams from the ACT and the Harlequins club of Melbourne.

Central West Junior Rugby will be our host again this year and new appointed Life Member of Central West Rugby - Penny Fisher will be the competition manager at the venue. For more information on the venue go to the information tab on the U14 page of the NSW Juniors Website or click here

Good luck to all competitors in Orange and take your time to visit many of the fantastic local attractions, cafes and restaurants whilst there.
